About 90+ bites on legs and arms thought they were mosquito bites then came home and developed more. They were bigger and redder than mosquito bites looked them up online and found out they were bed bug bites. Only place I had been was the Clarion Inn in Grand Junction . I'll be calling them tomorrow as I have reservation for 3 days in July. Not sure I trust staying there!

On May 5, 2025, my sister and I were sharing a double room at the Clarion Inn in Grand Junction. Around 7 a.m., my sister woke up and went to take a shower. She discovered a live bed bug on one of the towels in the bathroom. She took a photo of the bug, then killed it and set the towel aside to show hotel staff. I woke up later, and she showed me both the dead bug on the towel and the photo she had taken. We thoroughly inspected the beds but did not find any additional bugs. Upon checking out that morning, we informed the hotel staff at the front desk. The manager told us she went to the room with the head of housekeeping and found no evidence of the bug. When we asked about the towel we had set aside all she would say is that they had removed the towels. She said she found no signs of an infestation and therefore would not do anything to help us. Throughout the conversation, she was dismissive, rude, and combative, and treated our concerns with hostility and skepticism rather than professionalism or care.
