I stayed at this Hilton at the end of June 2023 for 3 nights. On June 30th around 2-3am, I turned on the light in the bedroom and saw bugs crawling over both beds in my unit. I also currently have several bites on my body - legs, arms, and face. I called the front desk to report the problem and request a different room. The associate claimed that there were no rooms available and told me that my best bet would be to check out of the room. When I told him that I could not go elsewhere and was put in that hotel by my employer and would otherwise have to sleep on the street, he literally laughed at me and said, "Well, you do want somewhere to stay, don't you?" I responded, "Yes, somewhere without bed bugs." After arguing with him, I requested to speak with a manager. The night manager reiterated that the hotel was full and claimed he could not get me another room. I requested that they pay for one night stay at another hotel, but he claimed he did not have the authority to do so. I requested that they transfer me to any other hotel in the Hilton network, but he said, "They're all full." Eventually, the night manager called back and said he denied another guest their room since they hadn't checked in so that I could be transferred to it. He delivered my room key to my door but refused to walk inside the room to see the bugs. He also refused to call them "bed bugs." He kept saying, "If it is what you think it is..." instead of saying "If it is bed bugs" because he clearly did not want to implicate the hotel. The staff only took me seriously when they found out that I was in town for work because my employer was obviously paying a lot of money for many people to stay there. I was transferred to Room 811 around 3-4am which seemingly did not have bed bugs. I got zero sleep that night and bawled my eyes out after the mistreatment. They sent me one invoice with a $700 charge and then another invoice with a $0 charge, so I have no idea when/if they will still charge me for the stay. However, the potential refund does nothing for me since it would have been reimbursed by my employer anyway. This stay actually cost me money because I had to throw out my luggage and clothing so that I did not bring bed bugs into my home. Stay far away from this hotel.
