8/11/2025 We arrived at the hotel around 9pm, sat on the beds and ate the food we had ordered, then my husband fell asleep on one bed in his clothes while I sat on the other bed watching tv. I spotted a small bug on the bed and knocked it off and killed it but didn't think it was a bed bug because it was a little bigger than I thought they would be. I turned off the lights shortly after and from the light of the tv I saw a bug out of the corner of my eye- same kind as the first one. I jumped up and couldn't see where it went so I took my phone flashlight and then spotted multiple small bed bugs behind the pillows and down on the mattress. I hurried and checked my husbands bed and sure enough there were bedbugs on his bed too. We quickly shook out our clothing and thank goodness hadn't unpacked our suitcases so put them on the desk right away. I went down to the desk and informed the attendant and he apologized and agreed to move me two floors up. I inspected the new room very carefully before we stayed. We didn't leave because we had no vehicle and it was 11 o'clock at night. I left a note in the room for the housekeeping to make sure all were aware of the problem. I haven't been communicated with on whether they did anything about it or not.
