Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

April 28, 2025 I checked in to the hotel. I was given room 223. At 5:00 am I was awaken by a bed bug on my arm. It was big. I recorded it and took photos. I called the front desk and they moved me across the hall to 224. I asked for the manager to contact me and she didn’t. I had to literally beg and keep calling until the assistant manager came to speak with me. I asked to be informed when housekeeping begins cleaning the other room so I can document and record any bed bug sightings for my records since I was bit. They did not. I heard Housekeeping screaming across the hall. I got up to look and they were running out the room after seeing the bed bugs. My arm is itching now in May 1 and I see two raised bumps where I caught the bed bug. I don’t think the hotel took this seriously and I doubt they replaced the mattress or didn’t anything to resolve this for the next victim.
