I checked into the hotel on Thursday, February 23, 2017 and checked out the following morning. The bites did not appear until Sunday, however when I checked my luggage (which hadn't been completely unpacked yet) I found a live bed bug. I have about 50 bites on my arms, neck, face, back, and hands. Another woman sharing the room with me also has bites on her arms. I spoke with a manager and she was apologetic and kind on the phone. She said she would call someone to check out the room. The hotel gave me enough hotel points for two nights stay, however I told them that would not be the end of it for me. My bites became so swollen (half dollar sized) and painful that I had to go to a walk in clinic for a steroid shot and prescription medications. I'll also have to treat my entire home which will be extremely costly.
