I had decided as it was our last night in a hotel on our 10 day road trip to check the bedbug registry while lying in bed at night. Of the 6 hotels we stayed at the days inn Was the only one that had a report so first thing in the morning I decided to check. My husband and I woke up first so I checked our bed. I didn't really give it a thorough check as we were rushing but I didn't see anything. Once my 3 boys were out of the bed I checked theirs. I didn't even have to check under the mattress. There was a rather large one in plain view quickly crawling towards the head boars. I assume it was under my middle child and exposed once he got out of bed. I didn't even want to look under the mattress as I was so disgusted. I took a photo and we left. To make matters worse there were small red ants crawling all over our laptop as we were packing up and as I am writing this in the car my son literally just squeezed because there was an apt crawling on the laptop that I just had to kill. This was my first bed bug experience and it will 100% change the way I feel about hotels. This hotel left a really bad taste in our mouths.
