Found 4 live, encouraged bed bugs on the bed, plus blood on the sheets and bites. July 10 2018 at 5:00 a.m. Staff did NOTHING but change our room. Don't stay here unless you want to deal with bed bugs.

The hotel itself is nice. However, I stayed here in October 2021 and left with bites on my back. I returned in November for work and checked the mattress for bed bugs, just to be sure, and I found them. Be sure to check your mattress before you get settled! Also, keep all of your luggage on the desk/suitcase stand/or in the bathtub. I ended up canceling my reservation and leaving. Thankfully the staff made that process easy. I did make the front desk staff aware of the issue and brought dead bed bug proof down to the desk with me. Beware of this hotel and check the mattress thoroughly.

We found a bedbug in our bed by the pillow at apx 9:40 am on 12/26/23. We immediately took photos and video and then went down to the front desk to let them know. I explained that I also immediately pulled back the sheets to check for more, but I didn’t see any other than the one, but it was most definitely a bed bug. The GM was nice at first but ‘had to go inspect for himself’. He then came back and said since he didn’t find anything that they could only offer us choice hotel points as compensation. We shared that that would not be acceptable because we don’t normally stay with choice and also that due to the situation we just wanted the room for the day to be refunded. (We were only asking for them to refund 1 of our two day stay, very reasonable given the situation.) The GM then was adamant that he simply couldn’t do that, I asked him to connect with the comfort suites corporate if he wasn’t able to override the system. I made him do so in writing, but he was very condescending at that point and wouldn’t do anything at the time. I did make him agree to have Terminex come and inspect, and they will only refund us if Terminex confirms the presence of bedbugs. he literally said that he could only do something if we caught it and brought it down to the front desk, which is absolutely ridiculous considering that we had time stamped+ geotagged photos and videos.
