Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

I noticed a bug crawling on bed my second morning of stay. I thought it was a roach. The 3rd morning I woke at 5:00am to several of these bugs crawling around on bed and I killed 2 with room key and they were bloody. I then lifted mattress and found more in cresses along with some husk. My luggage was stored on the cushioned bench seat st foot of bed. My stay was 11/26-11/29. There wasn’t a manager on site but the desk clerk said sorry and comped one night and gave me card to contact manager. After researching bed bugs, the dried husk is an indication that there was a problem before. Can you advise what to do from here. All of my items are outside on porch. I also had a CPAP machine on night stand with hose and nose peace draped on bed. I killed one of these bugs on the stand where my CPAP machine was.
