Week of 8/25 my Son had about 20 plus bites on him when we lifted the mattress we found live bugs. Bagged it brought it to management received a full refund but nothing to help with the cost we an time we are currently enduring to ensure our family of 7 and all our belongings do not transfer into our home. Discarded pillows, suit cases and personal blankets. A nightmare and many sleepless night ahead.

We went to Ocean City for Memorial day weekend 2023, we arrived at about 4pm, unloaded our cars (we had 5 adults &3 children). After getting settled, we went into the living room to play family games. I began to itch on my hand after about 45 min. At about 10:30, we all began to disburse for bed. My husband always checks the beds before we get in, and as soon as he pulled the covers back there was a bedbug Crawling on the sheet. We found them on the side of the mattress, in the curtains, on both couches, on the floor and even on the wall. There was clearly an infestation . We called the owner and told him about it and he told us he would find us somewhere else to go, we waited 2 hrs for a call back and never heard from him again. We were sleeping in our cars and had to find somewhere to stay on our own because the owner stopped communicating with us completely. 3am in the morning we found 2 hotel rooms so we could get some rest. My husband called the owner 8 times during the night only to get an answering machine. When I got up I sent a text message and gave them 10 min to call us back before I took further action and 5 min later we got a call from a lady that worked with the owner. Our bodies are so bitten up from just sitting on the couches.. we have spent over $500 in sprays, ointments and sprays to kill bedbugs, and 7 days later we are still suffering with these itching bites all over our bodies. We got a refund but we are still left withe suffering.
