Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

My wife and I checked into Room 207. April 13, 2018, at approx 6:00 PM.and went out for a few hours. We returned to our room around 11:30 PM. A few minutes after going to bed I felt something biting my ankles. Upon pulling the covers back I found approx 10 tiny bed bugs. After inspecting our bed the desk clerk apologized, ed and moved us to a room located on the 5th floor.that seemed much cleaner and free of bed bugs. During checkout the following morning the manager was apologetic and did not charge us for the room. I showed him the pictures I took of the bed bugs we found. and advised him of my concern about the possibility of transporting bed bugs back to our home in Maryland. I went online before we checked-in but I could not locate any record of prior bedbug complaints at this location. However, I suspect ours is not the first complaint.

We checked in on 8/21/2020 to room 207, and found a live bed bug under the head of one of the mattresses. Management was swift to move us out, and is offering another room, or possibly to place us in another Marriott property.

How to get rid of Bedbugs at home

If you find bedbugs in your home you should remove as much clutter and as many items as possible from your house. Replace all bedding and examine the box spring for bedbugs.
