On September 12th 2017 after a very full day of hospital appointments we headed to our room which we booked ahead of time online. It was about 5:15 PM. I'm handicapped and wheelchair bound so my assistant got me in the room and we wiped everything down with a can of Lysol. We then removed the bedspread and threw it in the closet stand. My aide then went and got our belongings from the car and sat on the bed to rest before unpacking everything. She started reading the paper and was startled by a small bug and she saw it then it was gone. she got off the bed and found a bed bug. ; We then checked and there were markings of trails all over the back of the drapes and even on the paper that covered the extra roll of toilet paper. I immediately started getting the hell out of the room! We went to the front desk, showed them the photos and them proceeded to get my $ back. The girl at the front desk was very helpful and willing to give us information on how to treat our things in the dryer... how long how hot etc. I found it strange that she knew all of this as if it was a normal thing there. She stated she was very sorry and that my money was put back on my card and she would give my info to the head office and they would contact me.THEY NEVER DID! I then proceeded to have to sleep with my aide in her HHR car in the alley of my daughter's as its not handicapped accessible not a good place to stay and they allow pets and had a big dog rooming around the lobby as well. NEVER AGAIN!.
