1. 7/21/17 @1:39am 2. investigated, confirmed. offered to treat certain items and changed room. morning management stated they would personally inspect my room to guarantee no bedbugs if i ever return.

On August 3rd of 2021 we woke up to start packing and happened to see something in the sheets as we went to fix the bed. After taking pictures of it and killing it, we discover that it was indeed a bed bug. The family members we stayed with are in contact with the resort and are determining how to proceed.

1/8/2023 Bed bugs in room, mother and I got bitten up, on first night stay that morning my mother noticed a few bites on arm she kinda just ignored. Then the second night stay that morning she had gotten bitten up 3x worse all over body and then we requested an inspector to come. My mother just moved sheets and their was bed bugs. Inspector came. We weren’t allowed to show him where they were or even to show him. And couldn’t get the report but said it was negative for bugs. Which was a lie, we seen them and have pictures / and the bites. Guest services and the manager were very unprofessional and we are not going back. And will go higher up for a refund.

Thursday Dec. 28th 2023. 9:51am Room # 3437. Family of 4 vacation 2 adult 2 children. 9yrs and 1 yr old. My 9yr old and myself began very itchy and we kept putting it off as the chlorine in water. When it was time for Check out my wife was taking off the sheets off the bed to put them off to the floor for housekeeping and we noticed a small bug on the sheet. My wife then took a video of it, and immediately went to the front desk to report it. We wanted the policy to be given to us of what our rights as guest are for situations like this. They refused to give us any type of documentation. They told my wife that it wasn’t a bed bug it was just a beetle. We could clearly see it was a bed bug. The manager just belittled the situation. Nothing was done they wanted us to stay there to get our room inspected and or bags. We had nothing offered to us while waiting for something that was an inconvenience to us. All they told us was, “someone will call you”

March 26, 2024 11:00am After spending the night in room 7237, we found a bedbug on a blanket that we had taken from one of the bedrooms to the living room the night before. I immediately called the from desk and requested a new room. They said to come to the front desk right away with all of our stuff. They gave us a new room and said they would call us with their “findings”. After waiting all day with no phone calls or messages I went back to the front desk to ask for a report. All they said was that they don’t have a report but after looking in their notes it was positive. We gave housekeeping our belongings to be treated with heat that they offered as the treatment. We are truly disgusted and my question remains as to why the rooms aren’t thoroughly cleaned after every guest. After checking the amount of sheets and mattress protectors in the new room, I know housekeeping it’s not taking everything off and washing them because they would have seen the bedbugs. My family and I are traumatized and deeply concerned about the cleanliness of the rooms. My daughter, her friend and I are experiencing extreme anxiety over the situation.
