THERE ARE BEDBUGS IN THE MAMARONECK MOTEL THAT MANAGEMENT REFUSES TO ACKNOWLEDGE, and money that they have refused to refund even though we only stayed for six hours before noticing the infestation and leaving. My partner was bitten while in bed and, of course, as most people would do, she squished it. They didn't consider a dead bed bug as proof enough, and later insisted that if it were only one, it "hardly counts as an infestation". We had to cut our trip short and drive an hour back home just to sanitize our clothing and belongings. We stayed in this motel before and we enjoyed our stay which is why we came back. But this time there was a health issue and management was unprofessional and rude when they were informed. We were not even allowed to know the manager's name, nor their contact information. We were not allowed to file a formal report. We will be calling the Westchester Department of Health Services to report the issue, and it's a shame that this is what we, as paying customers, had to endure on Christmas Day!!! Manager is presently responding passively aggressively to posts about infestation on social media, but still has yet to speak to us directly.
