Housekeeper approached husband and I upon arrival stating that she could not believe the owner rented out the room to us due to the room bring totally infested with bed bugs just the day prior but they completely renovated the room by replacing the carpet, walls were repainted and the bed was totally replaced with new bed still having plastic. We figured it was safe. While being in the room for a few hours we began finding adult bed bugs along the trim on the base of the walls at the floor after my husband found one on his head. We stripped the bed and searched every inch screen of the room to find 7 adults and 5 babies. I am completely disgusted. I brought this up to the new owner, whom my husband and I just commended greatly for how great the motel looked from when we stayed months ago, and he said he would not give me our money back and handed me a bottle of some herbal home made spray. We are currently homeless and gave him the last of our money so that we didn't have to sleep in our car. I explained this to him. I told him what his housekeeper told us and that we weren't comfortable sleeping in this room and shouldn't be forced to. He told me to make it through the night and he will put us in a new room tomorrow. That we have to pay for. I don't want to stay here. I don't want a new room tomorrow. I don't want to sleep in my car either. I'm beyond pissed off. It may not be the best motel, but ive been staying here for years with no problem until now. I feel like I have bugs crawling all over me.. I just want somewhere safe to sleep...

June 2017 Bed bugs was told i could check out. No refunds. Took bug to him. Gross
