Family went to Houston Texas on Monthly visit on 05/01/2016 until 05/03/2016 due to husband cancer treatment at MDAnderson. Could not stay at regular hotel due to convention in City. Hotel is remodeling and there were patches on the wall. Outlets did not work and hallways were nasty. Stairwell smelled of urine. As we my daughter and I were sleeping on 05803/2016 at 2:47 am in morning a bed bug crawled across the sheet which we have picture of. We dressed and immediately went to night mgr, an older gentleman who stated the furniture was new and the mattresses have bed bug free covers. Advised there were at least three sitting on their bed bug free mattress and showed him one of the bugs in a cup still alive. He stated he has never seen a bed bug and did not know where it came from. Advised we were leaving and I would notify the proper authorities concerning the hotel's issue. He stated I did not have to do that they would take care of it. I advised I will be notifying the proper health authorities. My daughter and I have multiple bites all over our backs, arms and legs so I am reporting to every known outlet to warn other consumers.
