While visiting our child at Syracuse U, we had the nightmare that travelers fear - BEDBUGS!!! We were in our 1st room only 15 mins and found a bug on the bed. They moved us to a 2nd room, and there were more. BEWARE!!! Yuk, yuk, yuk. I have pictures on them, and we looked online to see pictures of BEDBUGS. Our pictures matched exactly. YUK. I\'m not sure if the room number is correct - we left asap.

Found a live mature bedbug crawling on a sheet in the bed closest to door on 9/3/17. Quickly caught it in a cup, photographed it and then took it to the hotel desk. Woman at desk was very upset and switch me to another room (it smelled of mildew when I entered the room). Asked to speak to manager, but he was not working (@ 9:00 AM on a Sunday). Desk clerk took my name and cell number and said that the manager would contact me as soon as he came in. Waited until 6 PM for a response. Went to desk and asked to speak to manager. Explained what happened and manager didn't seem to believe me. Said he wasn't sure it was a bedbug. He had a very smug attitude. Told him I had pictures of the bedbug and have matched it to pictures online. He quickly took my name and cell number and said he would contact me shortly. Waited until after 9:30 AM on 9/4/17 and finally had to check out. Desk staff said the manager was not going to be in today (Labor Day) but would call me first thing in the morning. Waited all day for a call on Tuesday Sept. 5th. Finally called hotel and they formed me that the manager was not in due to a personal family issue. Said he would contact me by the end of the week.
