Stayed on April 4, 2022 for a work conference for the week. Woke up to blood stains after the first night on the bed, search for bugs couldn’t find them by that evening I had over 30 bites on my body. Red swollen itchy welts. Stayed up most the night with the lights on, got up in the morning had all the lights on during the night, checked the bed after showering pulled back the sheets again and saw three bugs crawling along the inside of the mattress’s seem. Called a friend down the hall she came and saw the bugs and another bug came out a total of four. I was able to catch three of them and put in empty little water bottle, killed the fourth one as I was trying to pick it up. Security came to the room took pictures of my body, I showed them the water bottle they moved me to another room and didn’t report back until the next day that the room came back negative. When I asked about the water bottle they said they didn’t remember what happened to it they left and wasn’t there the night when the room was checked. Actually a big denial on their part because it already had three bedbugs in it, and the dead bugs on the bed and my dried blood. Received no more acknowledgment or help from them told management on the third day that I now had over 44 bites on my body and that they had an infestation for that many bites and they needed to check it and get back to me. I have still not heard from anyone and it’s been 4 days . Very disappointed as I had to throw away my suitcases when I came home, dry clean all my clothes and throughout the week buy medication and lotions and live on pain medicine. Not even an offering of we are sorry or that they will reimburse me for any of these losses. I have photos and a witness to the bedbugs in the bed and the bugs in the water bottle!
