Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Pulled down comforter on bed in the far side of the room.. Mom screamed "SPIDER!" squashed it, thought nothing of it then a few hours later, all 4 of us asleep,dad started complaining he was itching& woke us all up...we were inspecting the bed for about 3 seconds before 1 bug was found. Looked up bed bug and comfirmed that it sure was a bed bug as mom found number 2. 3. 4. And 5...decent sized ones.. 1/16 of an inch.. We left immediately.. Manager refused our refund...we left anyway, there's NO WAY we were spending the night in that hotel...we left all of our belongings that had fabric and cut our losses.
