Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

I was in room 102, checked in on 04/18/17, woke up the morning of 04/19/17 and had red bites all over me, I first thought it was just mosquito bites, I pulled back the bed and seen bugs everywhere, I told the staff downstairs and they refused to listen to me, I got on the road for my travel, and ended up having to stop at the Hospital to get check, they then told me I had been exposed to Bed Bugs!!!! Called back to the hotel and all they said was they would check it out. This is not acceptable

I checked into room 102 on 4/18/17, woke up on 04/19/17 and had red bites all over my legs, I told the night auditor and he didn't seem to care, So processed to travel for the day when my red marks got worse, so I had to pull over to the nearest hospital, and they told me I had bed bugs, Now I have medical expenses, trying to exterminate my car and throw away all my clothes etc. This is a nightmare! I have since called back to the hotel and the "manger" says this is the first he has heard of it.
