Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Arms / Legs and face all have indication of being bitten. Thinking we were bitten by chiggers until we scheduled a DR\'s appointment. Definitely not fleas.

We checked in noticed a couple of flies and some mildew im the bathroom along with huge holes in the base board. Normally would immediately check for bed bugs, but wanted to catch the sunset at the beach so ran out for an hour. Got back and checked the bed and saw clear signs of bed bug dirt along mattress seams. We took our things and left, letting the girl at the desk know. Manager called us and told us there were no bed bugs but that there had been before and they dealt with it...? Not sure why mattress would have bed bug dirt then unless it was not replaced?
