Checked in on March 25th, 2019. Stayed 25th, 26th, 27th. We did do a very brief check for bugs upon check in, but didn't see anything. The room appeared clean enough, but did have a very dank musty smell. On the morning of the 28th, we found a bed bug in one of the beds. Our money was refunded, we were given bags to bag up all of our belongings for the trip home, and orkin was called. But we did have to cancel the 2nd leg of our trip. The hotel did what they could - but bugs were definitely found.

Stayed 10/26/23 1 night as chaperone for 8th grade trip. We did initial inspection of bed/mattress etc and didn't see anything. We did find a pillowcase in the bed, which we found odd, but figured maybe accidentally covered up during bed change. We did find a lot of dust and trash. When the other woman was getting in her bed, she found the bed bug crawling on the bottom sheet. We took it, along with pictures to front desk and she denied it being a bed bug and tried to link it to the battlefield, however we had not been there. She stated it was probably a tick and said all bed bugs were dark in color. Despite us showing her pics of young bedbugs, the woman denied. They didn't have any available rooms and we didn't have transport and not able to leave our students/group. The leader offered to change rooms with us and upon inspection of one of the beds in her room, we found a bigger bed bug. We captured it in a cup and left it in the room. I reported it to the front desk in the morning. Since we were there as a group, we have no control over compensation back for rooms, but staff was in denial and refused to acknowledge bedbugs. Obviously if there were bed bugs in 2 separate rooms, the chances of more rooms having them is high. Now our entire group (88+ people) have to take extra precautions due to high potential of bed bug exposure. I do have pictures.
