On 7/12/18 I booked a room at Motel 6 South, what I got was a nightmare. First they told me the only room they had available was a handicap room and they didn't know why but prices had gone up for that night which was a Tuesday and that had never happened before. On Friday morning 7/13/18 I woke up with bites on me. I had never encountered a bed bug problem so i didn't think that was the issue so I brushed it off. Later that night around 11:45pm was when I noticed the first bug crawling on the floor, not knowing what it was I stepped on it multuple times till it finally died. About 15min later was when I noticed 2 more on the bed, that's when i took pictures of all of them and compared them to pictures on the internet and it was a perfect match for bed bugs. I immediately went to the front desk and told the guy the issue, he asked which room I was in, after telling him the room # he immediately apologized and moved me to a different room as if he already knew that room was infested. The next day i go in requesting a refund for the 2 nights I stayed in that bed bug infested room and was rudely denied, as a matter of fact instead of being understanding and helpful to make me feel better for what I had just went through they proceeded to tell me I can no longer rent there. That is the way they always handle any customer concern, they throw them on the do not rent to list.
