After our first night I woke up with what looked like hives. I'm pregnant so I called my doctor and was advised to take Benadryl and go to urgent care if the problem worsened. It did so I went to urgent care and was advised these were bed bug bites on my arms, neck, face, and legs. Came back to condo to check our beds and sure enough found 3 bed bugs in plain sight. Hotel is moving us to a new room and giving compensation but this is miserable an such a hassle :( I've stayed here for over 8 years and have never had a problem before so may just be an isolated incident.

Stayed at Carousel 8/1-8/8 in condo 906. The kids room was infested with bed bugs as well as the couches in the living room. My kids were covered in bites by the time we got home. The hotel did compensate us 500 out of 2900 bill. It wasnt enough for the trouble it caused us!

We went to a conference that was being held at the hotel from the April 29th-May 1st. Everything was fine while we were there.We even checked the bed and dresser to see if we saw anything and we didn't, and they had plastic mattress covers on the bed too(They must have been hiding and we disturbed them) It wasn't until after we had returned home and 48 hours later I broke out in horrible bumps all over me. I had no idea what it was. Bed bugs crossed my mind, but wasn't sure. Out of the 6 people who I shared the condo with 3 of them I had talked to had no bumps or bite. ( these three slept in the 2 other rooms)The bites were all over where my exposed skin from my sleeping attire, and they were large welts. It wasn't until the next day I had ask my co-worker who I had shared a room with if she has any weird bites and she said yes. Her bite where 3 or 4 bites in a row . consistent to what I had read and normally appear to look like.( Mine are all over cause I toss and turn in my sleep all night) This is what had originally confirmed that it was bed bugs. We call the hotel and they assured us that the room had been checked by K9's 3 weeks prior and the room was cleared. Upon finding this site we found that the second comment written is the condo we stayed in #1911. It is very frustrating that the hotel seemed shocked that we called and complained about being bitten, when they knew that there had been an infestation in the past. Not all of my party had been bitten only two staying in one room. So that does show that what ever treatment that they did worked in two of the 3 rooms. Very upset that I have to know have to take all these precautions to hopefully stop an infestation at my house IF I happen to bring these little buggers home.

We stayed here for 3 nights. I woke up the second day and had bites on my hand. We did not know what they were. The last night my boyfriend woke up and had bites all over his neck and arms. We searched the bed and found one on his pillow. Call down to the desk, they sent somebody up to check. She proceeded to tell us it has been a problem. Gave us the number to a manager left 3 messages never heard back. The front desk lady got us our money back after being rude. I called again they gave me another number to a manager who did not call me back either. The bathroom also had mold on the ceiling and wall. Now we have to worry about getting bed bugs at our house even though we took precautions. We also had a 5 month old baby with us which they are lucky that she did not get bites.

We arrived at the hotel after a 6 hr. drive. Entered our room. Checked the beds. The first bed I saw nothing. The second bed I saw 4 little ink marks in between the mattress and box spring. I called the front desk. They sent a gentlemen to our room. He looked closer and told us we would need a new room. My husband was very angry and wanted to leave. I was crying. They would only refund us $200.00 of the $1,300.00. We had not choice but to be moved to another room. We were moved 4 floors up and on the other side of the hotel. We lost our view of the ocean and got a room with a view of the trash and other hotels. If you stay here. Good Luck! If you end up with bite marks they are probably bed bug marks, check your bed. If you find them you will need to check your home for 6 months after and hope that the stress and anxiety caused by the situation doesn't drive you crazy.
