Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Arrived at property on 12/23/19, and was placed into unit 1201. Unit had mold, water damage, and overall disrepair/dirty. Called immediately to receptionist to request to be moved to another unit, was told that they were all booked. Slept in unit 1201, awoke at around 6am and found an adult bed bug crawling on bed cover. Placed bug in a cup to identify it, and found it was an adult bed bug. Inspected sheets and mattress and found many small red young bed bugs. Took pictures of bed bugs, mold, and disrepair as evidence. Threw out luggage and took bags of clothing to laundromat to clean. Took cup with bed bug in it to receptionist area of Royal Mansions to demand refund. Then continued back to laundromat to decontaminate clothes, ourselves, and all items, and to find a new hotel. 1. Date: 12/24/19 Time: 6:00am 2. Management handled the situation: Full refund only after some arguing and physically presenting a bed bug that was captured in a cup. No reimbursement for loss of luggage, laundering fees, loss of vacation, relocation, ECT.

How to get rid of Bedbugs at home

If you find bedbugs in your home you should remove as much clutter and as many items as possible from your house. Replace all bedding and examine the box spring for bedbugs.
