Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

October 26, 2017 woke to find bites on face, arms, legs, hand and neck. Found small blood spots on mattress. Called downstairs for manager and asked him to come upstairs. He did not have time and was very nonchalant about all. We had to go downstairs, mgr said they were not bed bug bites! His only reply was sending housekeeping to room. They had this problem previously and evidently do not care. We have checked out and moving to Hilton. Will never stay at a Loews again. Also tried calling corporate-no way- they send you back to hotel.

We slept at Lowes Royal Pacific Resort room 3237 the night of 4/30/21. The hotel was clean and employees were friendly. One friend woke up to find 7 bites in a V pattern near her shoulder. another had 2 bites on her leg. A nurse friend said they were clearly bed bug bites. We immediately reported to the front desk and showed the bites to management. We filled out a report and sent a picture, as requested. They said they found no evidence of bugs and thanked us for our report. Not sure what to expect since weâ€™ve never experienced this before, but it doesnâ€™t seem like much of a response.
