08/02/2017, checked into room 216. While lying in bed, I moved the pillow and saw something brownish black. I caught it and put it in a cup of water. I looked it up on my phone and saw it was a bed bug. The person in the other bed starting checking their bed and found a bed bug between the mattress and box spring. In the morning, I had been bitten many times and had welts all over my upper torso. I waited at the desk at checkout to discuss it with the clerk or a manager but no one was at the desk. I had an appt and couldn't wait any longer. When the hotel gave me an electronic survey to fill out, I reported the bed bugs that way and never heard back. Room 216 at this Hampton Inn had bed bugs. They were told about them in the electronic survey they sent me.
