Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

On 08/10- 08/11/2019 celebrating 2 yr anniversary. Slept 2 hrs, on my bed. The rest in the bathtub with the lights on. Got bit 5 times, killed 4 bed bugs. Took pictures. Took 2 life bugs to the Manager at 6am because I couldn't speak to no one at 3am. He knew about the problem, said the exterminator was coming in next week, denied me a refund. I call local health authorities the same morning

10-7-22 to 10-8-22 stayed at room 144 at hollister inn. Checked the room out and thought it looked clean. When in the shower, saw an enlarged adult bed bug that was so large I thought it was a cockroach. Thought nothing of it (As I had never seen a bed bug that size before) and stayed. Friday night-Saturday. no bites. Saturday night. All was smooth and only got the first bite as we checked out. After breakfast, I found a living stage 3 adult on my bag. The shirt I wore then proceeded to give me 9 more bites as the day wore on. Changed shirts and no more bites. Informed management at Hollister Inn but got hung up on.
