We noticed what looked like mosquito bites on my daughters. We did not think too much about it since we were in Florida. They kept getting more and more every day. We then noticed blood patches on the bed sheets. At that time we pulled the bed sheets off and pulled back the mattress. We saw a lot of bed bugs. They were hundreds on both of the beds in the small bedroom. I walked to the front desk very upset. I was nice to the front desk clerk, but let him know how upset I was. He apologized, and offered to switch our room again. We told him no. We told him that we were done with that property, and we were packing and going home. He told us that he would have the manager give us a call in the morning when she got in. He said that most likely we would receive a full refund, but that would be up to the manager. The manager NEVER called! We called them several times and asked to talk to her. We were told that she was in her office, and they would transfer us to her. She never picked up the phone any time we called! We now have to have all of our clothes and belonging cleaned and heat treated to kill any bugs that have gotten into our luggage and/or clothes. We have to have our van chemically treated to kill any and all bugs that are now in it from our clothes and/or personal belongings. This is going to be a huge expense to us! Management has contacted this morning and denied any infestation.

We arrived on 08/10/19 for a 2 night stay. We were given room 503 upon checking in. On the first night my boyfriend was bitten by bedbugs which was confirmed by 2 doctors in the emergency room. We have reached out several times to management in hopes of resolving this issue. We have not received any calls from anyone concerning this matter. We our steadily incurring expenses from the hospital bill, prescriptions that he was given, cleaning all of our clothing thoroughly, throwing away a brand new suitcase set and the uncertainty if we still may have brought the bedbugs into our home. Terrible business ethics all the way around!
