We arrived at the motel on April 26,2019 and got adjoining rooms. We got up around 2:00 Saturday morning and was just sitting there on the bed and saw a bug crawling and come to find out it was a bed bug. My daughter in law is in the health field and I sent her a picture of it and she immediately typed back and told me it was a bed bug. We notified the front desk and asked for them to come to the room and they told us they couldn’t because there was no one else to take their place and keep in mind the mananger was gone on vacation, so we immediately took the bed bug put it in a plastic zip,of bag and took it to the front desk. The third shift person told us there was nothing they could do because the manager wasn’t there. 2 people in our party had already been bitten by the bug. She told us her manager wouldn’t be back until the following Tuesday. We notify them now and they still tell us there is nothing they will do about the situation. It is a very big issue because we took several personal belongings that had to be destroyed and plus we were out tons of money to exterminate and also taking a big chance on bringing them back to our own homes. We have pictures of the bed bug, the bites, and also the print from the bed bugs on the sheets. This is a major deal that needs to be resolved before we have to get a lawyer and a health department involved. Thank You, Brenda Grider
