We arrived Friday May 26, Saturday I have not really recognized bites on my skin. Sunday morning many itching spots all over my body. Went to the reception desk, they offer us an other room. We bought some anti itch cortisone cream ... swelling have started to heal.

5/4/2019 @9:30am. My daughter found a bug on her bedspread. I put it in a cup, covered it with plastic. We packed all our stuff up. It was not on the floor. We took a picture if the bug, looked it up on the internet. It was a bed bug!!! Rushed down to the main office told them we were checking out due to bedbugs. She accused us that bedbugs travel. Insinuating that we brought them in. She also said Cincinnati has bedbugs. But still insinuating that they travel and we brought them in. There were other guest behind us. My daughter had 4 bites on her later that day.

Single female NY state biz traveler stayed Sept 15-17, 2022 Rm 804 (last rm available). 9/16 early a.m.began itching on face with redness. By afternoon had a large bite on cheek and right eye began to close shut. Sat Sept 17 am revealed multiple bed bug bites on left pinky, left face cheek and three bites on right eyelid and eyebrow. By afternoon Sat blisters had formed filled with clear liquid at which time had a mild fever and overall redness itching irritation thru out body. Thought I'd been bitten by large mosquitos or spiders (never had bed bug bites before). By Sat evening, head also itched and noticed rows of three bites in succession on left big toe as well. Consulted with Orkin online and bed bug bites confirmed. Finished a.m. business mtg under stress and constant embarrassing itching. Took multiple photos of all bite areas. Purchased Cortisol cream and Benadryl from local pharmacy and began drive back to NY home. Monday a.m. called hotel, reported it "an Orkin investigation will be done and full refund issued as our policy if bed bugs found". Called Quality Inn Suites corporate and generated official report with i.d. number. Two days later I called back and Tiffany stated "Bed bugs found, floor shut down, it'll be couple days for refund as owner is just arriving back from vacation". Three days later no refund no contact from anyone at hotel. Contacted corporate again to ask status and they stated "any refunds has to directly from hotel". Called Cincy hotel again, spoke to mgr. He stated no bed bugs found, he will send me a copy of Orkin report. They stated "you can get bed bugs from anywhere" and "we would never shut down a whole floor because ONE ROOM had bed bugs - we don't do things that way". As of Sept 29, no refund, no Orkin report recvd. Have never recvd any follow up to phone or emails or any contact from Quality Inn and Suites 8th St Cincinnati OH. . Reported to Cincy Dept of Health Sept 27 who said they wd send a city inspector. I'm to call them back Sept 29. Forwarded email with all bite pics and synopsis of stay and experience to owner. Reported bed bugs to OH Dept of Agriculture. Contacted my attorney to file suit as it's clear hotel owners have no intention of admitting bed bugs or reimbursing me for a sub zero experience. FYI: I do NOT live in NYC and am extremely fastidious. I threw out all my luggage and clothes in dumpster. My local clinic confirmed bed bugs and the bite on my eyebrow left a scar.
