I stayed the night of April 10th 2018. I checked as good as I could but seen no evidence of bed bugs before going to bed. Upon waking up at 5:30 am the next morning, I turned on the lights to see a bug crawling up the side of the bed I didn’t sleep in, toward my luggage. I wasn’t sure of what it was so I knocked it on the floor and killed it. I made coffee and decided to sit on the bed I slept in and have coffe before getting ready for a meeting. I picked up the pillows to pile them behind me and there, under the pillows was another bug. This time I took my slipped and tried to swipe it off the bed , and accidentally squished it and blood spattered. I knew these were bed bugs. Then I seen the bite on my wrist that was under the pillows while I was sleeping. It strangely bled on and off for a coyuple of days. I called the attendant to show her this bug. She said management was not in for a week. She didn’t act surprised. Her response was “ well, we haven’t had any problems with this room” and was very uneducated about these insects because I was freaking out, I had a lot of questions. I googled what to do, and did just that and took all precautions I could. My bags are still outside of my home in plastic bags. No one has contacted me. No one has apologized. Nothing. Now I wake up in my own bed so scared I will see what I saw that morning. The bite is healing. Frotm the reaction of the attendant, I believe this hotel is infested in more than just 104
