I was bitten by bedbugs in the hotel, I did not report it to the manager, because the symptoms appeared in the last days of stay and I was only diagnosed when I returned to my country.

On 03-14 I stayed at this hotel, when I woke up the next day I had bedbugs bites on my legs and torso. I took pictures of the bites and reported problem at the front desk. After they saw the pictures and how upset I was, they agreed to give me full refund.

We checked in on 12/28. Daughter discovered 30 or so bites on her body (red spots) the morning we checked out 12/31. Called Hotel. They said they would investigate and get back to us. 4 DAYS LATER, they confirmed they found bedbugs in the room. Only offered to comp room and pay for medical bills. Dry cleaning might be approved with receipt, but all other expenses (doing laundry mid-trip, buying non-infested clothes to wear while trying to stem the infestation, dealing with potential spread to home was not covered in any way. Managers we spoke to (the mgr we initially spoke to was not the same as the one who confirmed the infestation or the one who explained what the hotel was willing to do) gave conflicting and false reports about what information they could/would share (like the exterminator report that confirmed the bugs) and gave us downright wrong information (like saying we could quarantine items in plastic bags overnight to prevent spread from things we could not dry in dryer) about how to treat items to prevent spread of infestation to our home.

We arrived at Rosen Inn International on 1/6/22. We’re from a different part of FL and visit Orlando every couple weeks and stay in new hotels. This was our first experience with bed bugs. My partner woke up itchy in the middle of the night and found 3 bed bugs crawling on them. We immediately packed up our things, threw it in trash bags, and then called the front desk. The receptionist was immediately apologetic. After working with the third party app we booked through (Hotwire) we were given a full refund and credit to use in the future. The hotel room itself was clean and felt safe overall- the bed bugs however were a horrifying surprise.
