This happened January 4th at the Candlewood Suites. I felt as though something was biting me but pulled the top blanket back and saw nothing. I kept the bathroom light on and went to sleep at approximately 1AM I woke up and saw one bug on the bed near my left arm. I put on my glasses and turned on the lights and saw the bug. Lifted my pillow and saw another. I called management and they came up and witnessed the bugs crawling on the bed. She offered me another room but I didn’t feel comfortable at the hotel. She placed me at the Hampton Inn next door. I have video and pictures of the bedbugs.

We stayed in room 108 on 3/10/2022 but transferred to room 216. On 3/11/2022 at 1:26am, I was awakened by a bug crawling on my right arm. I screamed, brushed it off and smashed it on the bed, blood came out of it. I looked up bedbugs on the Internet. The sofa was covered with bedbugs. I called the front desk to witness what I was looking at on the sofa. The front desk attendant offered another room. We declined, but upon request, she brought me plastic bags to gather our clothing. My mom and I dressed, disposed of our travel bags, and with no where else to go, checked out by 3:30am. We drove back to MD in the dark of night. There was no charge for 3/11/2022 stay. I’ve heard nothing from management otherwise.
