Stayed for thanksgiving 11/24/2022; had rented two rooms for two nights. One room was from a different state and our room was also a different state from different households. The first night we found a pretty decent sized cockroach on the wall. After leaving the hotel and getting to our Thanksgiving location the following morning, two people from two different rooms found bed bugs on them. After putting two and two together, one of the children staying with us said there was a “tick like bug” in their bed. We immediately went back to the hotel to check out and get reimbursed. The only person available to speak with was the front desk gal who had just recently started. She had to call the owner. The owner did put us in a different hotel for our second night but never reimbursed us. We paid $487.92 total and were only offered $188 of reimbursement for our stay. We have not received any reimbursement thus far. He told us that he had someone go into the rooms and look for bed bugs but didn’t find any. He had a maid go in and flip mattresses instead of calling pest control to very our “allegation.” I called corporate about this situation. No one seems to be concerned or wanting to do anything about this situation. We booked third party and they cannot find our reservations or confirmations number anywhere.
