Stayed the night of July 10, 2022 in room number 214. Woke up at 4:30am to use the bathroom and found 4 bed bugs on bedding. Squashed them with a tissue. They must have eaten a nice meal on me, as there was quite a bit of blood. I left all evidence... Bugs, blood and all ( see photos) and immediately went to the front desk where I reported it. I insisted on them giving me large trash bags immediately to put my belongings in to seal for the ride home. I cancelled the second night I had there. They didn't charge me for the night, but I have no idea if they'll actually do much about cleaning it..... How does one know if they do or don't? Cleanliness of the room was questionable upon entry (unflushed toilet, smears of what I assume was food on the side table, and the musty shower curtain stench was unbearable and stunk up the entire bathroom+ I'm not sure that shower curtain had ever been washed). But the bed was made neatly and I was here for a funeral and needed a place to stay. Staff was apologetic and nice about it... But I'm not confident they were truthful when I asked questions about if they are aware of this problem here.
