On the 26th of December, 2016 I found bedbugs in room 201. I saw a bedbug in the seam of the pillow next to me which blended right into the dark carpet when I tossed the pillow off the bed. I threw back the sheets and another bedbug scurried away. Horrified, I lifted up the skirt and there they were: black splotches which looked like a felt tip marker stain all over the mattress and skirt. Unfortunately I have dealt with them in the past and know that these splotches are bedbug feces. I immediately whipped out my phone and started taking photos and put two of the suckers in an empty courtesy water bottle. Staff said they were "shocked" and this was the first time they've ever seen bed bugs here, for whatever that's worth. Sleeping in my car would be preferable to having to put all my clothes and luggage in contractor trashbags and heading to a laundry-mat worrying about whether there are bedbugs in my car and stressing about every red mark and welt on my body for the next few weeks.
