I checked into this room on the night on 3/21. during the day on 3/22 i started noticing what I thought were hives on my face, neck and arms so I left work early, took Benadryl and went to sleep. When I woke up on the morning of 3/23, I quickly realized that I was much worse and had even more \"hives\" on my body. I then saw a bedbug on my pillow. I quickly called the front desk and they sent a manager up to the room who pulled back the fitted sheets and found even more bedbugs. I went to an urgent care and due to the sheer number and reaction I was having from all the bites (over 100 when I was finally able to count) I had to be put on antibiotics, steroids and an oral anti-itch medication. I was very disappointed with the overall response of the hotel, especially since I am a Platinum Elite member with Marriott and we have pulled all of our business from the hotel. I am still working with Marriott corporate to right this matter, as this hotel is apparently a franchise so they operate under different rules. It had been a terrible experience to say the least.
