We stayed I. Room 135 dates starting 3/13/16. We notice on one of us bite marks. Really didn't think much of it until the next day we both had bites. Plus found dead bugs in the sheets. Where they had left blood stains. We confronted Gary the manager and he put us in 122. We had two small dogs with us. We booked here because it was a dog friendly hotel. It was during peak season. We asked the clerks at the front desk could we inspect the room first. We barely got to the room and the phone was ringing. Wanting to know if we wanted the room. We were in a pinch do we took the room. After the hotel manager got is another room. Most people would have left this hotel because of this but the room was prepaid via debit card. So we felt stuck. After everything destroying two days of our vacation and $50 spent at the pharmacy. We only got $150. Off our total bill. Which is crazy! We will never stay there again or any Days Inn.

My Mother and I checked into the Days Inn on 02-20-17. In our first room the carpet was sopping wet, had a terrible odor, was not very clean, and had someone's left overs in the fridge. We told the person at the front desk about our room and asked for extra towels for the wet floor, the man ignored my mother. I then proceed to tell the man that our room was unexceptionable and that we were going to leave, when he offered us another room. In hind site we should have just left. We then proceeded to pack up and move to the first floor. At this time it was very late and my mother and me had just drove 20 hrs from Ohio, so we were exhausted. My Mom showered and i unpacked again. Then i proceeded to take a shower once my mom was done. I got out and my mom was already snuggled up in bed with her book. I grabbed my Ipad and turned on an episode of Parks and Recs. I was falling in and out of sleep, when my boyfriend calls and startles me. I look at my Ipad to see that it was still on and playing another episode of my show, when i saw little black bugs crawling by my pillow. I jump up and see my bed infested with Bed Bugs. I turn around, and i see my mom covered. all over her, the bed, books and even on her face. We were so freaked out. I ran to the front desk and ask for a bunch of garbage bags and run back to the room. we throw in all of our important stuff and leave behind the rest. we double bagged everything and took turns changing in the middle of the parking lot, into clothes that we had left in the car. (never in the room thank God) We throw our clothes that we were wearing into another bag, tie it tight and we were off to find a laundry mat and a super strong blow dryer. We take care of our clothes and wipe down our electronics, shower and turn the heat up so high on the blow dryer that we fried our hair. ( I found one dead one in my moms hair) Our next problem was finding a place to sleep. We were terrified of another hotel, one because we didn't want to spread those terrible bugs if one by chance survive and two we were both petrified of the same thing happening again. Lucky My moms work had an office with a futon. We barely could shut our eyes that night. When we awoke my mom was covered in bites and was swelling by the minute. She was allergic to the saliva of those bugs. We had to go to ER. Where she was quarantined and given three different prescriptions. Afterwards we went back to the hotel and the manager just made us wait, even after he saw my mom scratching and swollen and in pain. We waited outside, because were completely grossed out by the hotel. We warned people checking in, when a cleaning lady approached us. She said and i quote " please do something about this, don't be like those other people who just keep quite, I need this job but this is not worth it." We knew then were not the first. The manager finally saw us and gave us a rehearsed speech about how he was sorry but continue to check people in. We are currently talking to there insurance company. The deliberately put us at risk I thank god i woke up when i did, because i don't know how many more bites my mom would have survived. Please do not stay there.
