11/22/16 & 11/29/16 are the dates of the incidents. My husband had to report on two separate occasions to Clearwater, FL for new employee in-processing and training. The first trip was before 2016 Thanksgiving and the second trip was after the Thanksgiving holiday. The company made a reservation for him at the La Quinta Inns & Suites. During and after the 1st trip my husband stated that he did not sleep well and he returned home with numerous insect bites on his head, arms & legs. He attributed these bites to mosquitoes. I on the other hand was leaning towards bug bites. On his second trip he checked into the same hotel and was thoroughly bit up all over his body. He caught one of the bed bugs and took it to the front desk in the morning and told his new company that he needed to stay somewhere else. My husband was bitten up so bad that he had to report to emergency medical care to receive prescription medications (pills & creams). He also had to do a follow up appointment upon arriving back home. I have sincerely tried to engage La Quinta Inns & suites corporate office on numerous occasions. I have a case number and documentation to substantiate these incidents. It is unfortunate that the Risk management office has not returned my calls or done any follow up. The hotel manager or regional representative called and rudely inquired why we waited so long to report. My response, "It took that long for your corporate office to answer the phones. I guess they all had to return back to work from the winter holiday season". Do not stay at this location because I sincerely doubt they have done the necessary work to mitigate the situation.

6/22/2017. I have been moved to another room. waking up to many bug bites on my back and lower side back of my arms. I am a nurse for 20 years. These look like bug bites. I notified management. I am waiting for their response. They want exterminators to come in and evaluate the room before they get back to me. I will be going to a clinic tomorrow to get a doctors opinion.

03/16/21 We found bed bugs in our bed in the hotel. We took photos of them,my wife has 3 bites from them. we took the photos and reported it to the desk clerk and she moved us to another room. We looked over the other room carefully and didnt find any bedbugs there. They told us today 03/19/21 a pest company and inspected for bedbugs and found nothing there. Said it was another type of beetle...

2021-7-11 Well my son woke up saying he was itching and i went and check on the bed to see why and I found bedbugs I made a video to show the staff from the hotel.
