Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Woke up 4am Wednesday morning (June 15) to find cloth headboard covered with bedbugs of various sizes. After striping off my clothes, inspecting myself and contacting front desk I still had time to capture 5 which I left in cup in garbage can for inspection by hotel. I was moved to another room but checked out after washing clothes.

Upon arrival 9/5 checked mattresses for signs of bedbugs-no signs. No signs on headboard. Carpet in room was somewhat not vacuumed. Next afternoon noticed a black rounded dot on cloth headboard. Picked it up with a wipe and smashed it and it was red brown blood. In corner of headboard noticed some staining and â€œmovement â€œSwioed area with a wipe-baby bedbugs and more blood. In a crease of headboard noticed a larger bug-reddish brown-adult bedbug. Showed evidence to hotel staff . They only responded by giving us new keys to a new room. After loading belongings in car, went back to request full refund and they complied. Sadly, as we were leaving parking lot a FULL charter bus of college students was unloading! This hotel was understaffed and very unclean-not the normal company standards! My son had 1 possible bedbug bite on his stomach.
