1. June 4, 2021 at 5pm I checked in to the first room, 315. First thing I did was take off the sheet (which wasn’t even a sheet... it was literally a blanket on top of the bare mattress. The mattress was filled with rust colored stains, as were the curtains. I looked in the flaps and saw sticky egg like clusters and some bed bugs. I went to the lobby and the staff gave me a new room (I told them by the looks of the other room, I’d be surprised if the new room didn’t have the same issue because bed bugs aren’t isolated to one room). They said they had bed bug issues in the past “but always take care of it immediately”. The amount of evidence I found in ten minutes says otherwise. You can’t have that many signs of bugs without it being an infestation. It’s clear they either don’t check their mattresses (gross), or they ignore it. I decided to give the second room (on a totally different floor) a try because I was so hungry and tired. Checked the mattress and it had so many bugs and stains. I didn’t even have to flip the mattress or check the seams. They were on top of the bed... do the staff not even change the sheets? How do they allow this? The receptionists were very efficient at giving me my money back (probably because they didn’t want the line of guests to hear about it), so I will say that was good. They were nice and they were very sorry. However they should really notify the guests about it because people are going to be paying a lot of money after their homes get infested.
