2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

06/23. We arrived around midnight and checked into our room. We did a brief sweep and went to bed feeling confident in our decision to stay. Next morning around 8, I pulled the sheets down and found a big bedbug hanging out on the hem of the top sheet. We checked our luggage and attire thoroughly and went to the desk to check out. They apologized but didn't seem too shocked by the news. Issued a full refund. This hotel needs to be condemned.
