On 1/25 before midnight: The suites have a separate living/tv room with a pull out sofa. We got to our room later than expected and I had bathed my children and sent each one to bed, each being on a separate bed to share with myself and my mom, their grandmother. The lights were turned off and the door was cracked while my mother and I stayed up talking a bit in the tv/living room area before we went to bed. Since it was very dark where the beds were after turning off all other lights, I used my flashlight on my phone to get into bed with my son and as I flashed the light onto the bed, I saw two bugs scurrying. My mom who had already hopped in the other bed, got up and turned on the lights when I was panicking. I woke both children up immediately and told my mom to call the front office as I removed the children and told them to sit on the sofa. Not only was it the bed my son was laying in, but the bed my daughter had been in and my mom had gotten into. And there were a lot more than two! All scurrying all over, sheets, pillows, headboards and varied in different sizes! One was on my daughters pajama shirt and got on the pillowcases of my childrens pillows that they brought. Front office staff told us they would move us, refund us the night, and we could talk to a manager in the morning. It was after midnight at this time. Someone brought a luggage dolly to move our belongings but that was it. No protocol as to how to transport our belongings, nothing given to bag up, and not sure if anyone went back into the room to inspect because no one ever came in while we there. The room had a odd smell and I even mentioned it to my mom prior. It was truly invested.
