This hotel has many bedbugs-- I am currently dealing with at least 20 itchy, swollen bites all over my body. I had checked in on April 7th, 2017 coming to the hotel on a school trip. When I had woken up the following morning, I had found two bugs on my bed- one which was the size of an apple seed, one which was about the size of a tick (this small bug is a juvenile bed bug- the bugs had clearly made a nest here and laid eggs in the hotel). I reported the incident to my trip chaperone and my principle identified the bugs as bed bugs, and reported this to the hotel facilities. The hotel transferred us into different rooms, but they really didn't do much about the incident itself. They said that they were going about their "standard procedure" to get rid of the bugs, but they never emphasized what this was. I couldn't see any exterminator or official facility coming to exterminate the bug. In fact, the hotel officiated that they had finished checking all of the rooms in the hotels in 2 hours. In skepticism, I wonder how a hotel can thoroughly check beds, sheets, and carpets of about 500 hotel rooms in two hours. This underdeveloped investigation would explain why the hotel had reported no evidence of bed bugs- clearly their checkings were not thorough enough to find and exterminate the bed bugs which evidently existed in my bed. I was moved to a new room the following night- which was said to have no bugs- but I woke up with at least 20 swollen, itchy bites on my back, arms, stomach, and legs There had been reports of other students getting bitten as well- students who were staying on multiple areas of the third floor of the hotel. Bites from students staying all over the hotel shows how the bed bugs exist in multiple rooms all over the second floor of the hotel. Please think twice before staying here!
