My family and I checked in late so we went up to our room and went to bed. At midnight my 2 year old woke up and wanted to lay with my husband and I. I picked him up and then went to lay back in my bed when I saw 2 bed bugs where 1 where I had been laying and 1 on my husband's shirt. We all got up and saw more bedbugs called the front desk. At that hour they only had 1 employee so it took about 15-20 minutes before someone came to our room. She relocated us to the other side of the hotel and inspected the bed for bugs sent up a pizza for my kids since they were awake now and hungry. We went back to sleep with all of the lights on at 3am. We were staying for business so first the manager said all that could be done was to have our laundry cleaned but I had to leave early with my kids so the timing couldn't work. Eventually the GM got involved and personally took our laundry to be cleaned as well as compensated my husband with reward points equivalent to one nights stay.
