My reservation was for 8/22- 8/29. It was my first time dealing with bed bugs, so after the first night, when bites started appearing, i first thought of mosquitos. But by next evening i educated myself. When i came to the room in the evening and took a close look, I was horrified to see small black droppings on sheets. I did not go to bed at night and i indeed found a live bug crossing the bed. I placed it in a bag and left the place early morning on 8/24 after confronting the receptionist with the caught live bed bug. I showed the receptionist multiple bites on my neck and hands. The receptionist said he can’t help because the manager, Travis Savaya, will be only next day. I sent to the manager email describing the problem, with pictures of live bed bug and bites and requested a full refund of my stay. He responded that he will order checking of the room ASAP and issue refund if my statement is confirmed. I have not heard from him since. I am disputing the charge from this hotel with the help of my bank, because the whole thing how they treated me is immoral and i can’t support such business with my money.
