I stayed at this hotel beginning on 9/27/21 and checked out on the morning of 10/2/21. The first room I stayed in was room 318. The first day after staying there, I noticed bites but was unsure what type of bites they were. I thought it could be mosquito bites and the bites did not seem that bad at first. Upon the third day, I had over a dozen bites, the bites were horribly itchy and I knew they were bed bug bites because I had not been spending much time outside, and because the bites were distinctively from bed bugs — i.e., 3 or 4 in a row, very itchy, becoming more itchy as the day went on. I went to the front desk person and showed him my bites. He apologized, but did not seem surprised. He offered me a different room and some quarters so I could put my clothes in the dryer on high heat. The final room I stayed in (room 414) did not seem to have bed bugs because I did not get additional bites while I was there, but I did see a cockroach run out of the refrigerator in the room. There were other problems at the hotel, but this message is mainly to report the bug problems. When I saw the hotel manager on the last day when I was leaving, I told him about the bug problem and he also did not seem too surprised. He gave me the equivalent of a one room credit on my bill ( I was there for 5 nights total), and I said “but I had to sleep in a room with bed bugs for 3 nights!” And he said it was the best he could do. I believe they put more guests in the same room I left because the hotel was very busy that weekend.
