Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

I am the lead teacher for a group of 5th graders on a DC trip. Our stay at the hotel was 2/6/2018 to 2/9/2018. I received a report from Room 261 that they found two bed bugs...one on each bed. One girl had several bites on her hand and one on her chest. It was reported to our tour company who is in contact with management. We reported it to the hotel so they would not put anyone else in that room.

Woke up on the morning of May 5th and found an adult bed bug on me. I caught it and gave it to the front desk we later found baby ones in the fitted sheet corners. Front desk took video of it. The front desk attendant said the manager would call me but they didnâ€™t.
