The one that my friend and I stayed in was full of bed bugs. Enough to the point that we saw one crawl across the bed in the morning. When we awoke, my friend was literally covered in bites. We spoke to the front desk, and they really didn't seem all that surprised. |

The exterminator came one day and told us and our apartment was infested and we threw out our bed and sofa and had to remove all items to get sprayed. We were told we could move out and get deposit back but that never happened. This place is a dump stay away |

They to this day, have had no problems with bed bugs making me confident that I did not bring them into Westbrook towers. My unit was treated, but management denied there being a problem with the rest of the building. Now a year later, I woke up to a bedbug biting my arm last night. Going through treatment again, but the problem will not be solved until the source is discovered and treated. It is right next door to the Econo Lodge downtown that seems to also have problems. |

I showed her how the kids were bitten by the bed bugs, she didn't even apologize nor did she give me a solution to problem with the bed bugs! She simply didn't care. Worse Hotel ever |

After the Hilton we went right to my sister's home in Florida and she just found her first live bed bug. I have since returned home and have been taking many hours taking numerous precautions to prevent them from entering my home. Exhausting job physically and mentally. |
Date of Reported Incident:2012-02-03 08:33:30 Name of Location: Ali's Rental Property Address of Location:Culver City, CA Details: Myself and 3 other men moved into the back unit at 10928 Aletta Ave on December 30, 2010, signing a 1 year lease. We kept the place IMMACULATE! About 7 months into the lease, my girlfriend who frequently stayed over, had itchy bites all over her stomach, arms and legs. I began noticing the bites and itchiness as well soon after. Neither of us, or the 3 other roommates knew the cause of the bites or the itchiness. Then in November, I was noticing little black spots all over the pillow cases, and noticed blood splotches on the sheets, and found bug casings and bugs in various parts of the rental property. The front and back have 2 different addresses, however they share a common wall that divides both of the units. After finding a huge infestation in 1 of the upstairs bedrooms, all over the mattress and covered parts of the bedframe, I informed the landlord of the problem. Orkin Exterminators came out in November 2011 and inspected for the problem that was deemed "a health code violation". The landlord said that it was not his responsibility to take care of the issue. At that point, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health Office was informed of the infestation. Nobody from the LADPHO came out to inspect the issue, and thus did not make sure the landlord properly corrected the issue. Instead, the landlord used the tenants security deposit to pay for his rental property to be treated for the infestation. The LADPHO has recently said that they cannot send someone out to that unit and inspect because myself and my roommates have since moved out of the unit. I am convinced that the infestation was there when we moved in. Reason for my assumptions are simple. 1) Bed Bugs can go dormant for up to 1 year. 2) Our security deposit was ironically the same amount as it was going to be to treat the infestation 3) Which leads me to believe that the landlord knew of the issue prior, which is why the deposit was set at $3,200. 4) The landlord played the 'dumb card' when it was presented to him 5) Im not convinced that the issue has been solved 6) I would recommend renting this unit with extreme caution. |

Noticed a few more and finally looked it up. Just contacted property owner and starting treatment myself. It's disgusting and now my skin crawls. Also noticed itchy spots since I moved in. Hopefully this will be taken care of or I will be moving. |
