Friday March 17, 2023 checked in at about 1 pm. Basically dropped bags and left to attend our event. Got back after midnight. Woken up by my daughter because she had bites on her face, arms, legs and feet. We got lights on and could see the bed bugs crawling on the bedding and pillows. It's a long time infestation - at least 2 generations due to size (very large and brown to very small and clear (except for new blood). Called management and got switched to a new room on a different floor. We checked the mattress, linens, and pillows. No bugs, but a lot of dust, hair, and crumbs. Apparently some of the bugs got into our baggage and went to the new room with us. We wound up with more bites. Bagged everything in trash bags and checked out. Management didn't want to do much until they realized I had pictures and was going to call corporate because of the cost I would be incurring to get everything cleaned. They did remove 1 night from the bill at that point.
